Option #1: The Low Bun

When to rock it: This style is the perfect quick and easy updo for when you need to get a little dressy. But it's also great for days when you feel like showing off your natural beauty in a pretty sundress and sandals.

1. Start with dry hair and part it down the middle with a rattail comb. Choose a one-inch section of hair from either side of your part.

2. Start twisting tightly. Don't worry; the twist will naturally loosen so it won't look too severe.

3. Move along your hairline, adding additional hair into the twist as you go.

4. Stop just behind your ear and use bobby pins to pin it in place.

5. Grab all your remaining hair with one hand.

6. Leave your hand holding your hair against your head. Use your other hand to tightly twist the hair until you get to the ends.

7. In a circular motion, twist hair around itself into a spiral against your head.

8. Use a hair tie to secure it. The bun will naturally loosen and small pieces may fray out, giving you a more carefree look—totally gorgeous.

When to rock it: With casual outfits. It's a chic way to up the cuteness factor of your everyday look.

Straight Sistah

1. Ditch all that sleek and shine shampoo and conditioner. It'll fight the wave you're trying to rock.
2. When you get out of the shower, lightly towel dry your hair and run a wide tooth comb through it to nix any knots. Then, towel dry your hair from the ends-up,pushing upwards toward your scalp, to squeeze the water. Let your hair air dry.
3. When hair is fully dried, use a wide barreled curling iron to take pieces of hair and wrap them around the OUTSIDE of the barrel.
4. Gently tousle those tresses and spritz 'em with a little hairspray. You just went from super straight to wonderfully wavy, baby!

Wavy Woman

1. Wash hair as you usually would.
2. Run a wide tooth comb through your tresses.

…wear SPF! Sure, you’re skin may be wrinkle-free without a dark spot in site, but how you take care of your skin now will totes show lates. Slather away!

…always remove makeup before I snooze. After a long day at school, piano practice and finishin’ up homework, all a girl wants to do is hit the sack stat! Sleeping with your makeup, not to mention the dirt and grime from the environment, can lead to major breakouts (or worse, blackheads. Eek!).

…resist the urge to apply another coat of mascara. Having short lashes may leave some ladies bummed, but having tarantula lashes on your peepers will have your BF running for the hills. If only all of us could be blessed with long luscious eyelashes, sigh.

1. Use your pink shadow or pencil to make a thick line above your upper lash line.

2. Brush the same pink shadow or pencil along the outside of your lower lash line to about the middle of your eye.
3. Coat your upper and lower lashes once with mascara.
4. Apply the nude lip color to your bottom lip, and rub your lips together.

5. Paint your nails with shimmery gold polish. Rock on, retro goddess!
